About Our Owner

Jay Emde, CEO of Northwest Trim Clinic, grew up in Olympia. In 2023, his mom passed away, leaving him with a resource to invest in a business. His mom struggled with obesity for most of her life, and during her last few years, her quality of life was severely impacted by her inability to walk due to her weight, which also affected her mental health and motivation. Inspired by his mom's struggles, Jay opened Northwest Trim Clinic to help others overcome their weight loss challenges and empower them with solutions that could positively impact their lives. He often reflects on how having such an opportunity might have transformed his mom's life.
